Study on Evaluation Support System for Ship Handling Simulator Training

2021 World Automation Congress (WAC), 2021
In the maritime industry and university, the education and training of a ship handling is carried out by a ship bridge simulator. The education using the simulator is popular worldwide because we are able to train emergency situations, and a lot of trainees can go through the same scenario. The evaluation of simulator training is subjectively.

A study on berth maneuvering using ship handling simulator

2009 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, 2009
In this study, training data of berth maneuvering using ship handling simulator was analyzed from the viewpoint of the minimum time berth maneuvering problem. The safety margin of the minimum time berthing problem was derived from the minimum value and the maximum value of the simulator training data of the first class pilot trainee.
