On resistance experiments of ship models

The author has reanalysed some of the published data of resistance experiments of similar ship models in a form of the so-called residuary resistance coeft. (rr0) versus Schoenherr's frictional resistance coeft. (rf0) under constant Froude number.The rr0-contours (J=const.) are found out to be not always parallel to the base line.

A steric‐hindrance molecular engineering strategy uses dimethyl maleate (DMM) to convert poly(1,4‐butanediol) bis(4‐aminobenzoate) (PBDAB) into a precursor with reduced reactivity via Michael addition, thereby retarding the curing process to form a transparent, ultraflexible, and self‐healable secondary‑amine polyurea (PuSA) with a crosslinked network.

MiR‐940 Suppresses Ferroptosis by Controlling Expression of Key Regulatory Genes

A CRISPR‐based screening identified miR‐940 as a critical suppressor of ferroptosis in cancer. By coordinating the downregulation of pro‐ferroptotic genes with the upregulation of GPX4, miR‐940 establishes a regulatory network that protects against ferroptosis and correlates with poor clinical outcomes in distinct cancer entities.
