PET Imaging of Cardiac Inflammation in Viral Myocarditis Using a DPP4‐Targeted Probe

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study describes a DPP4‐targeted PET probe for imaging myocardial inflammation by selectively targeting activated immune cells. Derived from the clinically approved small‐molecule inhibitor linagliptin, the probe demonstrates favorable biodistribution with specific cardiac uptake in myocarditis.

THE SELECT METHOD OF ITERATION TARGET SPECTRUM FOR INDOOR ROAD SIMULATION TEST

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2016
How to select the appropriate target spectrum for iterative test is a key point to vehicle indoor road simulation testing,The conventional selecting method is to select the median fatigue damage spectrum as the target spectrum.

ZDHHC9‐Mediated Palmitoylation of ACSL4 Drives Ferroptosis in Diabetes Mellitus–Induced Erectile Dysfunction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus‐induced erectile dysfunction (DMED) is a highly prevalent complication among diabetic patients; however, its underlying pathogenic mechanisms remain incompletely understood. Metabolic disorder is a hallmark of diabetes, yet its precise contribution to DMED progression is not well defined.

Understanding Pyrotechnic Shock Dynamics and Response Attenuation Over Distance

open access: yes, 2016
Component requirements govern design and production in the aerospace industry. One such potential requirement for a component is the survival and continued function upon exposure to shock environments.

Microscale Mapping of Fiber Strain and Damage in Composite Wrinkled Laminates Using Computed Tomography Assisted Wide‐Angle X‐Ray Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

A Study in the application of shock response, spectrum analysis to disk drive shipping and handling shock tests

open access: yes, 1995
Disk drives have been around since the 1950\u27s. Since their inception, disk drives have undergone significant improvements and considerable downsizing. Personal computers and lap top versions have fueled increased demand for smaller, more powerful disk

Persistence and cycles in US hours worked [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This paper analyses monthly hours worked in the US over the sample period 1939m1 – 2011m10 using a cyclical long memory model; this is based on Gegenbauer processes and characterised by autocorrelations decaying to zero cyclically and at a hyperbolic ...
