Development of a Horizontal Pneumatic Test System for Shock Response Spectrum
Abstract Pendulum impact test equipment cannot meet the high magnitude test demand of large products. This paper designed a pneumatic impact test which can make a high-magnitude impact test, giving the design principle of the pneumatic impact test system, introducing the design methods of the pneumatic test system.

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Free serum cortisol during the postoperative acute phase response determined by equilibrium dialysis liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry [PDF]
In severely ill patients low concentrations of the corticosteroid binding globulin are typically found; the aim of this study was to quantify directly free bioactive cortisol concentrations in the sera of postoperative cardiosurgical patients.

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

The Spherical Shock Factor Theory of a FSP with an Underwater Added Structure
A floating shock platform (FSP) is important experimental equipment for the antishock assessment of large-scale shipborne equipment. Generally speaking, the FSP is a square barge structure with a flat bottom.

Metric of Shock Severity [PDF]
Shock response spectrum (SRS) is a widely accepted method for shock testing specification. However, SRS, as a supremum, is over-conservative and cannot fully describe the relative severity for various shock environments.

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.
