Unlocking Terahertz Steganography: Authentication of Hidden Images in Flexible Media

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Hidden information in multilayered devices, such as steganographic portraits, is detected and authenticated using reflection‐mode terahertz time‐domain imaging. Image reconstruction relies on a dedicated figure‐of‐merit obtained by integrating the signal intensity over the time‐window associated with the reflection from the metallic mirror backing the ...

Information Transmission Strategies for Self‐Organized Robotic Aggregation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
In this review, we discuss how information transmission influences the neighbor‐based self‐organized aggregation of swarm robots. We focus specifically on local interactions regarding information transfer and categorize previous studies based on the functions of the information exchanged.

Effect of expansion waves on cowl shock wave and boundary layer interaction in hypersonic inlet

open access: yesPropulsion and Power Research
The interaction of cowl shock wave and boundary layer has a crucial effect on the stability, operability and performance of hypersonic inlets. Many studies on inhibiting the separation and managing the strength of the interaction of the shock wave and ...

Numerical study of the oscillations induced by shock/shock interaction in hypersonic double-wedge flows [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
In this paper, the shock pattern oscillations induced by shock/shock interactions over double-wedge geometries in hypersonic flows were studied numerically by solving 2D inviscid Euler equations for a multi-species system.

MicroRoboScope: A Portable and Integrated Mechatronic Platform for Magnetic and Acoustic Microrobotic Experimentation

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents the MicroRoboScope, a highly integrated, compact, and portable microrobotic experimentation platform combining electromagnetic and acoustic actuation with real‐time visual feedback into a single, end‐to‐end device. The system enables closed‐loop control and tracking algorithm experimentation within an accessible and unified hardware ...

Impact of Shock Waves on Safe Exit of Vehicle Nose Cap During Thermal Launch Process

open access: yes水下无人系统学报
In response to the impact of shock waves generated under the action of the gas flow field on the safe exit of the rocket-projected vehicle nose cap during the thermal launch process of a concentric canister, a numerical simulation of the ignition and ...

Microscale Mapping of Fiber Strain and Damage in Composite Wrinkled Laminates Using Computed Tomography Assisted Wide‐Angle X‐Ray Scattering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study combines full‐field tomography with diffraction mapping to quantify radial (ε002$\varepsilon _{002}$) and axial (ε100$\varepsilon _{100}$) lattice strain in wrinkled carbon‐fiber specimens for the first time. Radial microstrain gradients (−14.5 µεMPa$\varepsilon \mathrm{MPa}$−1) are found to signal damage‐prone zones ahead of failure, which ...

Estimating the appearance of shock waves in the cavitation bubble during its collapse

open access: yesУчёные записки Казанского университета: Серия Физико-математические науки, 2017
The possibility of appearance of convergent shock waves inside a cavitation bubble during its collapse in acetone and tetradecane has been estimated. The liquid pressure varied from 1 to 100 bar, its temperature changed from 293 K to the values of 419 K ...

A Critical Time Window of Neocortex Modulation for Remote Fear Memory in Rats and Humans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies a delayed consolidation window around 18 h after fear learning in the mPFC essential for remote fear memory. VTA dopaminergic input during this window sustains remote memory in rats, while non‐invasive stimulation of homologous human mPFC at the corresponding time selectively weakens remote but not recent fear memory, revealing a ...

TOLLIP Inhibits Psoriasis Progression via Suppressing PKM2‐Mediated Glycolysis in Keratinocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, we identify TOLLIP as a critical regulator of psoriasis pathogenesis through its modulation of glycolytic metabolism. Our findings establish the TOLLIP‐PKM2‐glycolysis axis as a key mechanism linking metabolic reprogramming to psoriasis pathogenesis, and propose TOLLIP as a promising therapeutic target.
