The Effect of Target Shooting Training on the Results of Shooting Accuracy in Soccer Atletes

open access: yesKinestetik : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Jasmani
The aim of this research is to determine empirically the effectiveness and results of the footwork technique training model for badminton athletes aged 9-11 years. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall model. The data analysis technique uses the t test with SPSS software to test effectiveness.

In Situ Copper Electroplating Turns Material Extrusion 3D Printers Into Metal–Polymer Hybrid Fabricators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An in situ electroplating approach for MEX 3D printing is proposed, enabling copper deposition during the fabrication of conductive polymers. The method combines a printer‐integrated plating head, ML‐based g‐code control, and stop‐and‐go printing, achieving near‐bulk copper conductivity and enabling fully embedded, assembly‐free electronic components ...

Computational advances in gravitational microlensing: a comparison of CPU, GPU, and parallel, large data codes

open access: yes, 2010
To assess how future progress in gravitational microlensing computation at high optical depth will rely on both hardware and software solutions, we compare a direct inverse ray-shooting code implemented on a graphics processing unit (GPU) with both a ...

Minimal Curvature Trajectories: Riemannian Geometry Concepts for Model Reduction in Chemical Kinetics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
In dissipative ordinary differential equation systems different time scales cause anisotropic phase volume contraction along solution trajectories. Model reduction methods exploit this for simplifying chemical kinetics via a time scale separation into ...

Tunable Extraordinary Optical Transmission in the Long‐Wavelength Infrared Range Using Electrostatic MEMS Actuation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A MEMS‐integrated metamaterial filter enables continuous, low‐voltage spectral tuning in the long‐wavelength infrared (LWIR). The device employs extraordinary optical transmission in a dual suspended metasurface stack, where electrostatic actuation precisely controls the intermembrane air gap.

Grounding Large Language Models for Robot Task Planning Using Closed‐Loop State Feedback

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
BrainBody‐Large Language Model (LLM) introduces a hierarchical, feedback‐driven planning framework where two LLMs coordinate high‐level reasoning and low‐level control for robotic tasks. By grounding decisions in real‐time state feedback, it reduces hallucinations and improves task reliability.
