Consumers’ Intention to Bring a Reusable Bag for Shopping in China: Extending the Theory of Planned Behavior

open access: yesInternational Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, 2022
Bringing a reusable bag for shopping is a typical pro-environmental behavior and has been shown to be effective in reducing plastics, but research regarding this green behavior is limited. In this regard, using the snowball sampling technique, this study

Siloxane‐Functionalized Silicon Phthalocyanine OTFTs: High Hole Mobility and Unexpected p‐Type Character

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this paper, the first use of a siloxane‐substituted silicon phthalocyanine (iso(Si3O)2SiPc) in OTFTs is reported. Moreover, this compound displays the highest hole mobility (exceeding 1 cm2 V−1 s−1) ever recorded for SiPc, and the GIWAXS study reveals thin films with an exceptionally uniform crystalline texture.

Programmable Entanglement of Granular Mechanical Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This paper introduces entangled granular metamaterials—clusters of complex grains whose interlocking drives emergent, tunable properties. Here, we identify geometric features that enable entanglement and quantify them via disentanglement dynamics. We demonstrate robotic handling where magnetically controlled grains achieve robust collective picking and

Value Allocation in Regional Shopping Centers [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Understanding consumer shopping patterns is essential in estimating the value of regional shopping centers. Consumer shopping behavior determines retail sales at regional shopping centers which, in turn, impacts shopping center rents and value.

How Does a Delicate Insect Wing Resist Damage? Chitin Orientation Is Adapted to the Mechanical Demands at the Nanoscale

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoscale chitin fiber orientations in the insect wing play a critical role in adapting to complex mechanical demands. These findings reveal two distinct and functionally adaptive chitin orientation patterns in the membranes that vary regionally, optimizing mechanical resilience and deformation control.

Forecasting Personal Shopping Behavior [PDF]

open access: yesINTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTERS & TECHNOLOGY, 2014
Data mining (DM) techniques make efforts to discovery knowledge from data. Aiming to finding patterns, association rule (AR) computing algorithms seem to be one to be adopted on variety applications. To be originally claimed for best analyzing customer shopping goods in baskets, Apriori, the first AR algorithm, has been discussed and modified the most ...
