Inter-turn short-circuit fault model for magnetically coupled circuits: A general study
2016 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2016Inter-turn short-circuit (ITSC) fault is one of the most typical fault in different types of magnetically coupled circuits such as transformers and rotating or linear electrical machines. This paper presents a general study to approach the ITSC understanding and modeling as long as the circuit can be represented in state-space (SS) equations.

Calculation of transformer internal faults in short circuit analysis
2008 IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting - Conversion and Delivery of Electrical Energy in the 21st Century, 2008This paper presents a novel method of modeling internal faults in a power transformer. The method leads to a model which is compatible with commercial phasor-based software packages. Consequently; it enables calculation of fault currents in any branch of the network due to a winding fault of a power transformer.
