The analysis of protein consumption patterns in patients with SIBO
The FASEB Journal, 2017Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is common in patients with gastrointestinal diseases. SIBO symptoms are improved with antimicrobial treatment, but recurrence rate is high (approximately 40%). Dietary modification is essential for prevention of recurrence of SIBO however there are no detailed studies of nutrition in SIBO patients.
