In Sicily region 39,6% of women (aged 25-64) are screened regularly, meaning every 3 years. Considering regional tariffs and vaccine acquisition cost, the vaccination of 12-year-old girls with a 90% coverage could prevent 169 cases of cervicocarcinoma and 68 related deaths and thus results to be cost-effective (15.534 €/QALY).

Accretion in Evolved and Transitional Disks in Cep OB2: Looking for the Origin of the Inner Holes
We present accretion rates for a large number of solar-type stars in the Cep OB2 region, based on U band observations. Our study comprises 95 members of the ~4 Myr-old cluster Tr 37 (including 20 "transition" objects; TO), as well as the only CTTS in the

Mid-Infrared Variability of protostars in IC 1396A [PDF]
We have used Spitzer/IRAC to conduct a photometric monitoring program of the IC1396A dark globule in order to study the mid-IR (3.6 - 8 micron) variability of the heavily embedded Young Stellar Objects (YSOs) present in that area.
