ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Distortion exponent with side-information diversity
The joint source-channel coding problem of sending a Gaussian source with minimum average end-to-end distortion over a time-varying fading channel with time-varying correlated side information at the decoder is studied.

The VHL tumor suppressor at the crossroad of protein folding, aggregation, and cancer
Mutations, environmental stress, and chaperone dysfunction can destabilize pVHL, promoting its conversion from the native folded state into amyloid‐like assemblies. This transition may contribute to protein storage, cell dormancy, survival, and drug resistance.

Reliable cooperative source transmission with side information
— We consider reliable transmission of a discrete memoryless source over a cooperative relay broadcast channel, where both the relay and the destination terminals want to reconstruct the source; and over a relay channel, where only the destination ...

On the Leaky Private Information Retrieval with Side Information
This paper investigates the problem of Leaky Private Information Retrieval with Side Information (L-PIR-SI), providing a fundamental characterization of the trade-off among leaky privacy, side information, and download cost. We propose a unified probabilistic framework to design L-PIR-SI schemes under $\varepsilon$-differential privacy variants of both

Gut microbiota alterations in patients with non‐small‐cell lung cancer undergoing chemoradiotherapy
We investigated the impact of concurrent chemoradiotherapy (CRT) on the gut microbiota in patients with locally advanced non‐small‐cell lung cancer. Overall gut microbiota composition remained largely stable throughout CRT while antibiotic exposure may influence microbial diversity.

High‐risk bladder cancer is typically treated with Bacillus Calmette‐Guérin (BCG), but 30–40% of patients relapse. No FDA‐ or CE‐approved biomarkers currently predict or prognosticate BCG failure. We systematically reviewed the literature and identified 72 eligible studies, revealing several promising biomarkers associated with BCG treatment response ...

On A Markov Game with Incomplete Information [PDF]
We consider an example of a Markov game with lack of information on one side, that was first introduced by Renault (2002). We compute both the value and optimal strategies for a range of parameter values.

The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.
