Journal of Number Theory, 1974 AbstractA proof is presented that the random sieve, a stochastic analogue of the sieve of Eratosthenes, generates sequences of numbers approximating the density of primes. The expected number En[h] of such numbers less than n satisfies En[h]/π(n)→1 and the actual number h(n), on any trial, approximates π(n) in the sense of the weak law of large numbers.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.During early human erythropoiesis, miR‐513a promoted erythroid differentiation in primary human CD34+ hematopoietic stem‐progenitor cells and human TF‐1 erythroleukemic cells by indirectly decreasing c‐Jun and phospho‐c‐Jun expression, which are associated with increased GATA1 expression.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.This paper reveals how human lactoferrin–albumin fusion (hLF‐HSA) potently suppresses lung adenocarcinoma cell migration. hLF‐HSA upregulates NHE7, leading to Golgi alkalization, disruption of the Golgi secretome, downregulation of MMP1, and reversal of EMT. These findings suggest a novel Golgi‐targeting strategy to suppress cancer cell migration.
