Sigmoid colon cancer during pregnancy
European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology, 2002 Colorectal carcinoma during pregnancy is a rare event. We report a 23-year-old primigravida with advanced stage adenocarcinoma of the sigmoid colon diagnosed at 34 weeks of gestation. A healthy female infant was delivered by cesarean section. The treatment of choice was chemotherapy. The patient died 3 months after delivery.
