Hirschsprung's Disease Presenting as Sigmoid Volvulus in a Newborn

[Vaginal-sigmoid fistula caused by diverticular disease].
Minerva ginecologica, 1998A case of a 66 years old patient suffering from a sigmoido-vaginal fistula and diverticulosis, previously treated with a total laparohysterectomy, is reported. Retrograde studies demonstrated the presence of fistula, whereas colonoscopy and barium enema failed.

[Diverticulosis and Crohn's disease of the sigmoid].
Annales de chirurgie, 1992Crohn's disease and diverticulitis of the sigmoid may be combined in old patients, this association could lead to difficulties in diagnosis and treatment. Three cases of Crohn's colitis associated with diverticula, two females and one male, aged between 66 and 80 years are reported by the authors.
