The joint reliability signature of order statistics [PDF]
AbstractIn this article, we investigate the joint reliability signature of a number of k-out-of-n systems. We assume to have n components with independent and identically distributed lifetimes.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Dynamic stress–strength reliability estimation of system with survival signature
In this paper, we proposed a dynamic stress–strength model for coherent system. It is supposed that the system consists of n components with initial random strength and each component is subjected to random stresses.

Modeling of residual spheres for subduction zone earthquakes: 1. Apparent slab penetration signatures in the NW Pacific caused by deep diffuse mantle anomalies [PDF]
We have computed focal residual spheres for 145 subduction zone earthquakes along the northwest edge of the Pacific using regional and global mantle velocity models from tomographic inversions.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Reliability analysis of systems based on survival signature [PDF]
It is essential to conduct a reliability analysis of systems with multiple types of components, and deal with the uncertainties within the components failure time distribution. Moreover, finding the most “critical” component in the system at a certain time facilitates a risk management.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.
