Geometry‐Assisted Phase Selection: Interplay of Phase Heterogeneity and Geometry in Gyroid Shell Metamaterials Printed with 17‐4 PH Stainless Steel

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores geometry‐driven phase evolution in gyroid shell metamaterials made via laser powder bed fusion of 17‐4 precipitation hardened stainless steel. Locally hardened regions develop along the primary loading paths in the structure, which finite element analysis and geometric considerations link to enhanced gyroid strength.

FOUR STAGE SECURITY ALGORITHM FOR DATA TRANSFER TO IMPROVE SECURITY IN MANET

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Communication Technology, 2022
Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) regarded to be a group of mobile nodes that can communicate with others in the absence of network infrastructure. MANET is at high risk due to its basic features, such as peer-to-peer (P2P) architecture; wireless shared ...

Edge Currents as a Signature of Flatbands in Topological Superconductors [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2013
We study nondegenerate flat bands at the surfaces of noncentrosymmetric topological superconductors by exact diagonalization of Bogoliubov-de Gennes Hamiltonians. We show that these states are strongly spin polarized, and acquire a chiral dispersion when placed in contact with a ferromagnetic insulator.

An Examination of Aerosol Jet‐Printed Surface Roughness and its Impact on the Performance of High‐Frequency Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

Topological signatures of Mo2TiC2O2

open access: yesAIP Advances
Mo2TiC2 is the Ordered Double Transitional Metal Layered Carbides (ODTMLC) derived from its parent MAX phases Mo2TiAlC2 by a wet chemical etching. Its oxidation was done by a new ablated plasma thrust method in which the MXenes were at 750 °C under an oxygen background in the pulsed laser deposition chamber.

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

C*-Algebraic higher Signature on Non-Witt space [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
Signature plays an important role in geometry and topology. In the space with singularity, Goresky and MacPherson extend the signatures to oriented pseudomanifolds with only even codimensional stratums by using generalized Poincare duality of intersection homology. After that Siegel extended the signature on Witt spaces. Higson and Xie study the $C^*$-

ErMn6Sn6: A Promising Kagome Antiferromagnetic Candidate for Room‐Temperature Nernst Effect‐Based Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates the Nernst effect in the Kagome magnet ErMn6Sn6 which exhibits both topological and anomalous Nernst effects with the anomalous Nernst coefficient reaching 1.71 µV K⁻¹ at 300 K. This value surpasses that of most canted antiferromagnetic materials, making ErMn6Sn6 a promising candidate for advancing thermoelectric devices based on

Gravitational instantons with conformally coupled scalar fields

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We present novel regular Euclidean solutions to General Relativity in presence of Maxwell and conformally coupled scalar fields. In particular, we consider metrics of the Eguchi-Hanson and Taub-NUT families to solve the field equations analytically.
