Random Signed Measures

Point processes and, more generally, random measures are ubiquitous in modern statistics. However, they can only take positive values, which is a severe limitation in many situations. In this work, we introduce and study random signed measures, also known as real-valued random measures, and apply them to constrcut various Bayesian non-parametric models.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.
