Echo Chambers Are Defined by Conflict, Not Isolation
The influential “echo chamber” hypothesis suggests that social media drive polarization through a mutual reinforcement between isolation and radicalization.

Defensive Alliances in Signed Networks
The analysis of social networks and community detection is a central theme in Artificial Intelligence. One line of research deals with finding groups of agents that could work together to achieve a certain goal. To this end, different notions of so-called clusters or communities have been introduced in the literature of graphs and networks. Among these,

ABSTRACT Background Outcomes in relapsed or refractory pediatric and AYA bone sarcomas remain poor, and the impact of early referral to specialized sarcoma centers on survival is unclear. Early centralization of care may improve local and systemic treatment quality, but evidence in this population is limited.

Consensus of Second-Order Multiagent Systems with Directed Signed Networks and Communication Delays
This paper is concerned with the consensus problem for second-order multiagent systems (MASs) with directed signed networks and local communication delays. First, under a strongly connected directed graph, some properties for signed digraph and the model

Bipartite Consensus Problems for Directed Signed Networks with External Disturbances
The intention of this paper is to explore the distributed control issues for directed signed networks in the face of external disturbances under strongly connected topologies.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

More on Spectral Analysis of Signed Networks
Spectral graph theory plays a key role in analyzing the structure of social (signed) networks. In this paper we continue to study some properties of (normalized) Laplacian matrix of signed networks. Sufficient and necessary conditions for the singularity
