Hierarchical Interfacial Engineering of Boehmite‐Coated Separators via Silane Functionalization and Electron‐Beam Irradiation

A hierarchically reinforced ceramic–coated separator is developed by integrating APTES‐functionalized boehmite nanoparticles with EB‐induced radical formation and subsequent coupling. Ethynyl Substituents as Rheostatic Triggers in Single‐Molecule Junctions

We demonstrate a method to impart rheostatic behavior by extending the core π‐system with ethynyl substituents. Compressing and relaxing single molecule junctions gave continuous changes in conductance, akin to a traditional variable resistor: a rheostat.
