High‐Speed Multimode Fiber Imaging Using Binary‐Modulated Silicon Photonics Optical Phased Array
A multimode fiber imaging system at 500 frames per second is experimentally demonstrated. It is enabled by a p‐i‐n diode‐based silicon photonics optical phased array. Programmable Photonic Extreme Learning Machines
Experimental demonstration of a programmable photonic extreme learning machine using a hexagonal waveguide mesh. Three different classification tasks are solved using the photonic processor. Two approaches based on an evolutionary algorithm and a WDM scheme are proposed to increase the accuracy of the models.
