Enzyme‐Regulated Extended Swelling of Hydrogels for Dehiscence‐Less Tissue Expansions
An interpenetrating hydrogel network with swelling under regulation by enzymatic degradation (INSURED) is fabricated to avoid dehiscence. INSURED remains structurally intact post‐implantation, while HYAL injection enables control over the onset and rate of swelling.

A Tie-Over Dressing Using a Silicone Tube to Graft Deep Wounds
Background The most common cause of skin graft failure is the collection of blood or serous fluid underneath the graft. In our study, we describe the use of silicone tube for tie-over dressing to secure the skin graft margins with the aim of decreasing ...

Correction of Severely Asymmetric Calf using Latissimus Dorsi Musculocutaneous Free Flap and Customized Silicone Implant [PDF]
Calves can be easily seen in daily life and are an important part of the body contour. Asymmetric calves can develop from unbalanced distribution and deposition of fat and muscles between the legs. Calf asymmetry may be due to congenital factors, disease

Silicon Microrefrigerator [PDF]
We fabricated a silicon microrefrigerator on a 500-mu m-thick substrate with the standard integrated circuit (IC) fabrication process. The cooler achieves a maximum cooling of 1 degrees C below ambient at room temperature. Simulations show that the cooling power density for a 40 x 40 mu m(2) device exceeds 500 W/cm(2). The unique three-dimensional (3-D)

Non‐covalent protein–protein interactions mediated by SH3, PDZ, or GBD domains enable the self‐assembly of stable and biocatalytically active hydrogel materials. These soft materials can be processed into monodisperse foams that, once dried, exhibit enhanced mechanical stability and activity and are easily integrated into microstructured flow ...
