Nanostructural crystallization of silumins

open access: yesLitiyo i Metallurgiya (FOUNDRY PRODUCTION AND METALLURGY), 2022
The crystallization of silumins has been shown to be a nanostructured process. Liquid silumin consists of elementary nanocrystals of aluminum and silicon, free atoms of aluminum and silicon, aluminum-silicon complexes. Primary microcrystals are formed from them.
