Compounds Formed in Silver Dental Amalgam

Journal of Dental Research, 1968
A high-resolution X-ray powder diffraction camera was used in the identification and crystallography of compounds in dental amalgam. The study included determination of the effects of the mercury-alloy ratio and of aging in clinical restorations. In all instances, γ silver-tin, y silver-mercury, and γ tin-mercury were found.

Adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of yeast β-glucan for off-odor compounds in silver carp mince.

Food Chemistry, 2020
Yeast β-glucan (YG) adsorbs off-odor in silver carp mince due to its more porous structure. To explore adsorption behavior and mechanism, adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics of YG for 3 off-odor compounds (hexanal, 1-octen-3-ol and nonanal) were ...

Perfluoro organic compounds of silver

Journal of Fluorine Chemistry, 1980
Abstract Non fluorinated organo silver compounds are thermally unstable. In contrast fluorinated organo silver compounds are thermally more stable, the stability increasing with perfluoro aromatic counterparts rather than perfluoro aliphatic systems.

Biochemical changes induced by dominant bacteria in chill-stored silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) and GC-IMS identification of volatile organic compounds.

Food microbiology, 2019
To evaluate the spoilage potential of dominant bacteria (Aeromonas allosaccharophila, Pseudomonas psychrophila, and Shewanella putrefaciens) isolated from spoiled silver carp (Hypophthalmichthys molitrix) fillets, biochemical changes including protein ...
