Polymeric silver co-ordination compounds

Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1988
Preparation and crystallographic characterization of novel co-ordination polymers containing silver ions bridged by a flexible ligand provides evidence for a well defined pathway for polymerization of co-ordiantion compounds.

Characterization of Silver Sulfadiazine and Related Compounds

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1974
Silver sulfonamides can be successfully recrystallized from strong ammonia solution. The spectral characterization of silver sulfadiazine, silver sulfamethazine, silver sulfanilamide, and silver sulfapyridine indicates that the silver sulfonamide formed on reaction of silver nitrate with the free sulfonamide or its sodium salt is correctly represented ...

Glutathione-Stabilized Magic-Number Silver Cluster Compounds

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2010
Magic-number theories, developed to explain the anomalous stability of clusters in the gas phase, are being successfully applied to explain the stability of families of condensed phase Au clusters. To test the generalizability of these theories, we have synthesized a family of magic-numbered Ag clusters.

Silver intercalated III–VI compounds

Solid State Ionics, 1987
Abstract The intercalation of silver into layered semiconductors of III–VI family is investigated for the first time. Single crystals of indium selenide and indium sesquiselenide are intercalated by two methods: a classical electrochemical one and a pulsed electric field method.

Ionic Diffusion in Superionic Silver Compounds

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1985
The diffusion constants of impurities, Cd ++ and In +++ ions as well as the mobile Ag + ions were measured in superionic α-Ag 2 S, α-Ag 2 Se and α-Ag 3 SI with the α-AgI structure using tracers, 109 Cd, 111 In and 106m Ag. Unexpectedly, high mobilities were observed also for the multivalent impurity ions.
