Silver deposition from silver rubidium iodide

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry and Interfacial Electrochemistry, 1975
Summary Silver deposition from silver rubidium iodide has been studied using four different substrates. These were platinum, vitreous carbon, pyrolytic graphite and silver. The results are consistent with nucleation and growth of discreet centres in each case.

Silver deposition in mouse glomeruli

Pathology, 1976
Administration of 6 mM silver nitrate in the drinking water of mice resulted in deposition within the glomerular basement membrane of silver granules which were detected on electron microscopy after 12 days. Larger aggregates were detected in the basement membrane and mesangium when silver ingestion was extended to 14 weeks. The silver deposits did not

DNA-Templated Photoinduced Silver Deposition

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2005
We are presenting a photography-derived methodology to achieve the photoreduction of Ag+-DNA complexes. lambda-Phage DNA was first loaded with silver ions, then irradiated with UV light at 254 nm. The DNA bases acted as light sensitizers, promoting the in situ reduction of Ag+ and the formation of metallic silver clusters.

Geochemistry and Fluid Inclusion of Epithermal Gold-Silver Deposits in Kamchatka, Russia

open access: yesMinerals (Basel, Switzerland)
The work focuses on five epithermal Au-Ag deposits of the Kamchatka volcanogenic belts: Rodnikovoe, Baranyevskoe, Kumroch, Lazurnoe (adularia-sericite type–Ad-Ser) and Maletoyvayam (acid-sulfate type–Ac-Sul).
