Cathodic deposition of silver on silver bromide at microelectrodes

Solid State Ionics, 2006
The cathodic deposition of silver metal on single crystalline silver bromide leads to deposits with different morphologies depending on the cathode geometry and the current density. The deposition at an extended planar electrode results in the growth of silver whiskers.

Argyria—tissue deposition of silver as selenide

Scandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation, 1981
Generalized argyria was precipitated in a patient by treating gingival erosions with a solution of silver nitrate for several months. High silver concentrations were measured in skin biopsies. treatment with penicillamine did not increase the urinary silver excretion, indicating that silver is deposited in tissues in a chemically stable and apparently ...

Electro-Deposition of Silver

2017
<div class="section abstract"> <div class="htmlview paragraph">This SAE Standard specifies the requirements for the electro-deposition of silver on ferrous-base, copper-base, aluminum-base, zinc-base and nickel base materials. It is primarily intended for use on electrical and electronic items which are to be plated with silver to ...

Preparation of silver sulphide from chemically deposited silver films

Materials Chemistry and Physics, 1995
Abstract A simple chemical method has been used for the conversion of thin films of Ag into Ag 2 S films. Thin, uniform and large-area films of Ag were prepared by chemical deposition using the ‘adsorption-reduction’ method on glass substrates and dipped in Na 2 S solution to be converted into Ag 2 S films.

Kinetics of the Deposition and Dissolution of Silver

The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1960
Galvanostatic measurements, made on spherical silver electrodes in highly purified aqueous acid solutions of silver perchlorate at current densities up to 10 amp cm—2, gave overpotential as a function of time and Faradaic current density at constant total current.

Epitaxial deposition of silver on molybdenite

Surface Science, 1972
Abstract Silver was found to deposit epitaxially on molybdenite at substrate temperatures from — 165°C to 625°C. The degree of epitaxy decreased with decreasing substrate temperature with rotations of up to 4°. Regions with hcp-type silver diffraction patterns were observed at low substrate temperatures.

The deposition of silver in glomerular basement membrane

Virchows Archiv B Cell Pathology, 1972
The sequential deposition of silver in glomerular basement membrane was studied electron microscopically in a series of rats which had ingested 12 mM AgNO3 drinking fluid continually for periods of up to 81 weeks.

Mexican Silver Deposits

1990
Abstract Much of the first day's route is spent in travelling in a southerly direction through desert basins to Chihuahua City (Fig. 1). Numerous ranges are visible from the roadside and some stops are scheduled for description of lithologies and structures, particularly where mapping has been accomplished.

Silver Deposition In the Diffusion Process

The Journal of Photographic Science, 1962
AbstractA theoretical explanation is offered to account for the dependence of the density and colour of a silver-gelatin coating on the packing density of the single silver particles. Experimental results concerning the use of silver coatings are communicated.1.
