About the ore conduits at the near-surface deposits of gold-silver ores
It is shown that at the rather numerous near-surface gold-silver ore deposits (sometimes with tellurides), developed in the East of Russia, the fractured ore conduits can be revealed.

FastNano Liquid: An Automated Platform for Small‐Angle X‐ray Scattering‐Based Materials Discovery
We present FastNano Liquid, an automated small‐ and wide‐angle X‐ray scattering platform for the combined synthesis and characterization of (nano)materials. The platform is coupled to varied reactor workflows for both in situ studies of reaction kinetics and ex situ screening of synthesis conditions to support machine learning‐guided exploration ...

The Politics of Regulation: Adolescent Mothers and the Social Context of Resiliency
The experiences of adolescent mothers have too often been reduced to patterns of correlation linking teenage parenthood with low educational attainment, persistent poverty and continued welfare dependency. These analyses have reinforced representation of

Inactivation of the antibacterial and cytotoxic properties of silver ions by biologically relevant compounds [PDF]
There has been a recent surge in the use of silver as an antimicrobial agent in a wide range of domestic and clinical products, intended to prevent or treat bacterial infections and reduce bacterial colonization of surfaces. It has been reported that the

To enhance through‐thickness conductivity without sacrificing impregnation, large spherical graphite particles are intentionally employed in a low‐viscosity resin. Unlike finer conductive fillers, these particles remain outside the fiber bundles and accumulate in resin‐rich interlaminar regions during molding.

Why Silver Deposition is so Fast: Solving the Enigma of Metal Deposition
A perfect match: Silver deposition is one of the fastest electrochemical reactions, even though the Ag(+) ion loses more than 5 eV solvation energy in the process. This phenomenon, an example of the enigma of metal deposition, was investigated by a combination of MD simulations, DFT, and specially developed theory.

Problems of silver import to India, connected with the world economic crisis
In India 76% of silver simultaneously is extracted from lead-zinc and from small quantity of Gold deposits. About 30% of consuming silver is produced in country. India occupied the third place of silver consuming in 2007 year.

This study proposes a potential device design for joint cartilage replacement. Silica‐polytetrahydrofuran (SiO2‐PolyTHF) hybrids with customizable mechanical properties were developed to mimic the characteristics of a natural meniscus. These were synthesized through a two‐pot sol–gel hybrid process.
