The influence of iodine donor forms on the characteristics of sedimentation-forming AgI-MСM48-MeIx hybrid powders

open access: yesJournal of Materials Science: Materials in Engineering
AgI-МСМ48-MeIx hybrid powders (HPs) were prepared by the method of Hydrothermal template co-condensation. Silver iodide was always a product of the reaction between silver nitrate and potassium iodide.

Photolytic behavior of silver iodide

open access: yesJournal of Research of the National Bureau of Standards Section A: Physics and Chemistry, 1963
Silver iodide exposed to high intensity radiation in the visible light spectrum was found to yield a powder X-ray diffraction pattern showing marked deviations from ideality. It was found possible to correlate these with a decrease in primary extinction, indicating a constant progress from an ideal to a mosaic type crystallinity.

Retrospective reconstruction of Iodine-131 distribution through the analysis of Iodine-129

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
Iodine-131 distribution released from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant accident was reconstructed through the iodine-129 measurements. From nearly 1,000 surface soil samples iodine was extracted by the pyro hydrolysis method.

1,3-Bis(4-methylbenzyl)imidazol-2-ylidene silver(I) chloride catalyzed carboxylative coupling of terminal alkynes, butyl iodide and carbon dioxide

open access: yesJournal of Saudi Chemical Society, 2017
The N-heterocyclic carbene silver(I) complex 1,3-bis(4-methylbenzyl)imidazol-2-ylidene silver chloride was applied as the effective catalyst for the three-component carboxylative coupling of terminal alkynes, butyl iodide and carbon dioxide. The reaction
