Real-time fluorescence spectra from photoactivated individual silver clusters on silver island film were obtained via inserting a transmission grating in the emission light path of an inverted microscope. The high throughput data collection ability allowed us to monitor photochemical dynamics of multiple silver clusters in two dimensions simultaneously

Soft and Adhesive Cardiac Patch for Electrophysiological and Contraction Measurement
This study developed an epicardial electronic patch with a modulus similar to that of the heart (approximately 65kPa), which can collect stable electrocardiogram signals and myocardial contractility on the surface of a dynamically beating heart. This is attributed to the hydrogen bond interaction formed between the amino and catechol groups in the ...

Inspired by spider silk, a bio‐inspired polyamide elastomer with a dynamic physical cross‐linking network is developed. Mimicking the rigid β‐sheet crystals and sacrificial hydrogen bonds of silk, the material achieves an exceptional balance of strength and toughness.

A steric‐hindrance molecular engineering strategy uses dimethyl maleate (DMM) to convert poly(1,4‐butanediol) bis(4‐aminobenzoate) (PBDAB) into a precursor with reduced reactivity via Michael addition, thereby retarding the curing process to form a transparent, ultraflexible, and self‐healable secondary‑amine polyurea (PuSA) with a crosslinked network.

Semi‐Transparent Organic Photodiodes with Near‐Infrared Detection Fabricated by Inkjet Printing
This work shows the inkjet printing of semi‐transparent and opaque organic photodiodes that enable light detection in the near‐infrared regime. Their transparency and high detection speed make them ideal for applications in soft robotics, wearable devices, and light communication systems.

Epitaxy of Fe3O4 on Si(001) by pulsed laser deposition using a TiN/MgO buffer layer
Epitaxy of oxide materials on silicon (Si) substrates is of great interest for future functional devices using the large variety of physical properties of the oxides as ferroelectricity, ferromagnetism, or superconductivity. Recently, materials with high

Durable write-once optical disk memories for 800nmusing silver island films
Durable write-once (WO) optical disk media have been demonstrated by using silver island films with a protection layer of fluorine-contained polymers. The reflectance of the silver island films is high at the wavelength of 800 nm and can be greatly lowered by laser irradiation, owing to the thermal deformation of the islands.

Extrinsic and Intrinsic Charge Transfer at Interfaces of Membrane‐Based Oxide Heterostructures
Freestanding oxides have emerged as a new opportunity to tailor oxides outside of the typical epitaxial constraints. We present the fabrication of TiO2‐terminated SrTiO3 membranes via direct growth control. We demonstrate competing ionic and electronic charge transfer in LaAlO3/SrTiO3 bilayers using near ambient pressure XPS.

Direct observation of small cluster mobility and ripening [PDF]
Direct evidence is reported for the simultaneous occurrence of Ostwald ripening and short-distance cluster mobility during annealing of discontinuous metal films on clean amorphous substrates.

Perpendicular electric and magnetic fields are used to control charge‐density‐wave (CDW) domain dynamics in quasi‐two‐dimensional h‐BN/1T‐TaS2 field‐effect devices. Electrical gating produces a non‐monotonic modulation of the CDW depinning threshold — behavior distinct from quasi‐one‐dimensional CDW systems.
