Glucose Sensor Using Redox Active Oligonucleotide-Templated Silver Nanoclusters
Redox active, photoluminescent silver nanoclusters templated with oligonucleotides were developed for glucose sensing. The silver nanoclusters had a photoluminescent emission at 610 nm that reversibly changed to 530 nm upon oxidation.

Multimodal Imaging of Silver Nanoclusters [PDF]
Recent developments in Nanobiotechnology have given rise to a novel brand of fluorescent labels, fluorescent metal nanoclusters, e.g., gold and silver nanoclusters. Generally, high atomic number elements such as silver can attenuate more X-ray and consider as label in X-ray microtomography.

Inhibition of DNA replication initiation by silver nanoclusters [PDF]
Abstract Silver nanoclusters (AgNCs) have outstanding physicochemical characteristics, including the ability to interact with proteins and DNA. Given the growing number of diagnostic and therapeutic applications of AgNCs, we evaluated the impact of AgNCs on DNA replication and DNA damage response in cell-free extracts prepared from ...

Small symmetry-breaking triggering large chiroptical responses of Ag70 nanoclusters
Having control over the chirality of metal nanoclusters is challenging. Here, the authors report the deracemization of silver nanoclusters and monitor the chiroptical responses.

Single Au Atom Doping of Silver Nanoclusters [PDF]
Ag29 nanoclusters capped with lipoic acid (LA) can be doped with Au. The doped clusters show enhanced stability and increased luminescence efficiency. We attribute the higher quantum yield to an increase in the rate of radiative decay. With mass spectrometry, the Au-doped clusters were found to consist predominantly of Au1Ag28(LA)123-.
