Performance Enhancement of Silver Nanowire-Based Transparent Electrodes by Ultraviolet Irradiation
Silver nanowires (AgNWs) are used as transparent electrodes (TE) in many devices. However, the contact mode between the nanowires is the biggest reason why the sheet resistance of silver nanowires is limited.

An Invisibility Cloak Using Silver Nanowires [PDF]
In this paper, we use the parameter retrieval method together with an analytical effective medium approach to design a well-performed invisible cloak, which is based on an empirical revised version of the reduced cloak. The designed cloak can be implemented by silver nanowires with elliptical cross-sections embedded in a polymethyl methacrylate host ...

Optical Characteristics of Nano Space of Silver Nanowire on a Silver Mirror [PDF]
AbstractLocalized surface plasmons in subnanometer gaps defined by metal nanoparticle dimer has recently attracted attention as a high‐sensitivity sensor with a small volume. We demonstrated multiple gap plasmons by a single silver nanowire with a spacer layer on silver film, that is, nanowire on mirror (NWoM) in the dark‐field with polarization ...

Modulation of Cathodoluminescence by Surface Plasmons in Silver Nanowires
AbstractThe waveguide modes in chemically‐grown silver nanowires on silicon nitride substrates are observed using spectrally‐ and spatially‐resolved cathodoluminescence (CL) excited by high‐energy electrons in a scanning electron microscope. The presence of a long‐range, travelling surface plasmon mode modulates the coupling efficiency of the incident ...

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Spin Injection Of Exciton–Polaritons With Halide Perovskites At Room Temperature
A monolithic Tamm‐plasmon microcavity embedding a two‐dimensional halide perovskite enables room‐temperature spin injection of exciton‐polaritons under quasi‐resonant optical excitation. Polarization‐resolved spectroscopy reveals partial preservation of the injected spin in the lower polariton branch, while bare excitons remain fully depolarized.
