A simple, all solid-state, circuit is described which has produced a square wave with an amplitude of 1800 V and a frequency of 80 kHz in a capacitative load. The device is of application to Stark modulation in microwave and gas radical e.s.r. spectroscopy. It has certain advantages over previous systems in being more compact, providing an output which

AbstractWe introduce roots of indecomposable modules over group algebras of finite groups, and we investigate some of their properties. This allows us to correct an error in Landrock's book which has to do with roots of simple modules.

The language Grace is being proposed for specifying and programming in a graph-centered environment based on graph transformation. Emphasis in the design of Grace is laid on modular structuring of programs. In this paper we present a simple kind of modules for the language which encapsulate rules and graph transformation units, and export some of them.
