AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

Endo-permutation modules as sources of simple modules [PDF]
Let \(P\) be a finite \(p\)-group, and \(k\) an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p\). The author considers \(kP\)-modules of the form \(\bigotimes_{Q/R\in\mathcal S}\text{Ten}_Q^P\text{Inf}^Q_{Q/R}(M_{Q/R})\), where \(M_{Q/R}\) is an indecomposable torsion endo-trivial module with vertex \(Q/R\), and \(\mathcal S\) is a set of sections of

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Strongly nearly-2-absorbing submodules [PDF]
Let Ɍ be a commutative ring with identity and V be a unitary left Ɍ-module. The concept of Strongly Nearly-2-Absorabing sub-modules as a generalization of Endo-2-Absorabing sub-modules and strong form of Nearly-2-Absorabing sub-modules are introduced in ...

AMFuse: Add–Multiply-Based Cross-Modal Fusion Network for Multi-Spectral Semantic Segmentation
Multi-spectral semantic segmentation has shown great advantages under poor illumination conditions, especially for remote scene understanding of autonomous vehicles, since the thermal image can provide complementary information for RGB image.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Cerebellar modules operate at different frequencies
Due to the uniform cyto-architecture of the cerebellar cortex, its overall physiological characteristics have traditionally been considered to be homogeneous.

This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

DiffCoEx: a simple and sensitive method to find differentially coexpressed gene modules
Background Large microarray datasets have enabled gene regulation to be studied through coexpression analysis. While numerous methods have been developed for identifying differentially expressed genes between two conditions, the field of differential ...
