A homotopy approach to the computation of economic equilibria on the unit simplex. [PDF]

open access: yesAsia Pacific Journal of Operations Research, 1994
Summary: In the model of a pure exchange economy with \(n+1\) commodities, the excess demand is a continuous function from the n-dimensional unit simplex Sn to the \((n+1)\)-dimensional Euclidean space \(\mathbb R^{n+1}\). A zero point of this function is a price vector at which the demand is equal to the supply in the economy.

Targeting neutrophil extracellular traps in metabolic and immune niche: Nanomaterials for diabetes tissue regeneration

open access: yesBMEMat, EarlyView.
The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

Distributional patterns of the South American species of Hyalella (Amphipoda: Hyalellidae) Patrones de distribución de especies sudamericanas de Hyalella (Amphipoda: Hyalellidae)

open access: yesGayana, 2012
Distributional patterns of the South American species of the freshwater amphipod genus Hyalella were analysed using a panbiogeographic approach. Five generalized tracks were found: (1) northern Andes to Lake Titicaca (H. dielaii, H.

Operations Research‐Based Formalisation and Design of Sustainable Reverse Logistics for E‐Waste Supply Chains

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study demonstrates how a profitable, lean, and environmentally responsible e‐waste reverse logistics system can be designed using integrated Operations Research (OR) techniques. Addressing the growing urgency of responsible consumption (UN SDG 12) and the projected rise of the e‐waste sector to USD 137.60 billion by 2029, the research ...
