Converter simulation using SimPowerSystems a comparison of drive cycles and control strategies
2013 International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Applications (ICRERA), 2013This paper describes the setup of a direct current to direct current (DC-DC) converter simulation using Matlab / Simulink's SimPowerSystems (SPS). The simulation is set up to focus on full drive cycle simulation to be able to visualize the effects of a control strategy on a drive cycle over time.

A VBR induction machine model implementation for SimPowerSystem toolbox in Matlab-Simulink
2008 IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting - Conversion and Delivery of Electrical Energy in the 21st Century, 2008This paper presents a voltage-behind-reactance (VBR) induction machine model for the Matlab-Simulink toolbox SimPowerSystem, which is widely used for simulations of power and power electronics systems. In the proposed VBR model, the three-phase stator branches are represented by decoupled and constant R-L branches behind voltage sources, which provide ...

2020 IEEE 4th Conference on Energy Internet and Energy System Integration (EI2), 2020
Solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) has received considerable attention nowadays. It can be used in the integrated energy system (IES) to provide both thermal power and electric power. For purposes of analysis of multi-physics phenomena, a SOFC model that considers electric, pneumatic, and thermal transients is developed in this paper.

This paper presents the implementation of a constant-parameter voltage-behind-reactance (CP-VBR) synchronous machines model that can be directly interfaced in most state-variable-based transient simulation programs. The stator is interfaced using constant and decoupled RL branches, and the rotor equations are expressed in state-space form to facilitate
