NS1‐Induced PARP1 Phase Transitions Prolongs Host Transcriptional Pausing to Promote Influenza A Virus Replication

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After IAV infection, NS1 induces PARP1 phase transition, reducing molecular mobility in condensates, prolonging host transcriptional pause, aiding RdRp cap snatching, and promoting viral transcription. ABSTRACT Influenza A virus (IAV) commandeers host transcriptional machinery to replicate, but mechanisms remain elusive.

Solvent‐Free Synthesis of Ultrabright Carbon Dots With Near‐Unity Quantum Yield for High‐Performance Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rational, solvent‐free synthesis utilizing 2,6‐diaminonaphthalene produces ultrabright green‐emissive carbon dots. Regulated by a self‐limiting oxidative capping mechanism, excitons undergo ultrafast intra‐particle funneling from the nitrogen‐doped carbon core to emissive surface traps.

Quantitative Analysis of Real-Time Virtual Reality Sickness During 360° Video Viewing

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Virtual reality (VR) sickness induced by wearing a head-mounted display and viewing 360° videos has primarily been studied using subjective questionnaires administered before and after content viewing. However, this approach is limited to identifying the

Interface‐Enhanced Electrochemical Epoxidation Over a Core‐Shell Nanozeolite TS‐1@Mn‐N‐C Catalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Core–shell interface of TS‐1@Mn‐N‐C enables in situ generation of high‐concentration H2O2 and its spatially confined activation toward epoxidation‐active η‐Ti‐OOH species, leading to highly efficient and continuous electrochemical epoxidation. The work successfully addresses the key challenge of inefficient mass transfer and slow kinetics caused by ...

Developing Metal–Polyphenol Network‐Based Single‐Protein Particle Encapsulation System for Sustained Release of Whey Protein to Mitigate Sarcopenia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sarcopenia has emerged as a major health challenge in the aging population. Developing a sustained‐release system for whey protein may enhance its effectiveness in mitigating sarcopenia. Herein, a novel “single‐protein particle encapsulation” (SPPE) system is developed to protect whey protein and control its release.

Spatiotemporal Regulation of Hierarchical Assembly of Hydroxyapatite for Enamel Remineralization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biomimetic repair exhibits unique advantages for enamel regeneration compared with conventional clinical treatments. An enzymatic mineralization system (EMS) is developed, where the resulting HAP nanorods hierarchically assemble into a highly ordered structure on the enamel surface through the spatiotemporal modulation of interfacial energies of ...

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.
