The effects of optokinetic nystagmus on vection and simulator sickness
Abstract Vection describes the sensation of ego-motion induced by the moving visual stimuli that cover a large part of the visual field. Within the present study, the parameters of optokinetic nystagmus were matched with vection and visual induced simulator sickness.

ABSTRACT Methane's efficient catalytic removal is vital for sustainable development. Bimetallic catalysts, though promising for methane activation, pose a design challenge due to their complex compositional space. This work introduces an integrated framework that combines high‐throughput density functional theory (DFT) and interpretable machine ...

Secreted Nonstructural Protein 3 is a Pathogenic Determinant of Orbivirus
This study uncovers a conserved PIP2‐dependent secretory pathway of orbivirus NS3 that induces vascular leakage. Pharmacological disruption of PIP2‐NS3 interaction significantly reduces viral pathogenicity and provides protective efficacy in murine models, establishing PIP2‐mediated NS3 secretion as both a key virulence determinant and a promising ...

Simulator Sickness within the Framework of the Level Theory of Movement Regulation: Empirical Study
Background. Virtual reality (VR) technologies are being applied in various areas of human activity. However, their use is often associated with the onset of simulator sickness. To date, there is no consensus on the mechanisms behind this disorder and the

Compact Tabletop Magnetic Resonance Elastography for Mapping Soft Tissue Viscoelasticity
This work introduces a compact, low‐cost tabletop magnetic resonance elastography platform for high‐resolution viscoelastic mapping in soft‐tissue specimens. Using this method in human colorectal liver metastases, we demonstrate fully automated biomechanical profiling of treatment response and show that heterogeneity‐based metrics outperform ...
