Simultaneous determination of psychosine and cerebrosides

Analytical Biochemistry, 1987
A new method was developed for the simultaneous determination of psychosine and cerebrosides in tissues. Total lipids extracted from the tissues were treated with [3H]acetic anhydride in toluene-methanol. Known amounts of nonradioactive N-acetylpsychosine were added to the reaction product and then subjected to mild alkaline methanolysis.

Simultaneous determination of thiamine and pyrithiamine

Analytical Biochemistry, 1962
Publisher Summary This chapter describes a spectrophotofluorometric assay of a mixture of thiamine and pyrithiamine based upon the difference in excitation and emission characteristics of their respective oxidation products, thiochrome, and pyrichrome. The chapter tabulates the relative molar fluorescence of thiochrome and pyrichrome as determined on

Simultaneous determination of cortisol and corticosterone in urine

Clinica Chimica Acta, 1970
Abstract Urinary cortisol and corticosterone have been measured simultaneously without prior purification or chromatography using a fluorometric method which incorporates a correction for non-specific fluorescence. Non-corticoid fluorescence was corrected for by the introduction of a sample blank in which corticosteroid fluorescence has been altered ...

Simultaneous Determination of Dextran and Glucose in Serum

Nature, 1961
IN the course of an investigation on the mechanism of ‘anaphylactoid’ reaction in rats, the need was felt for an accurate and simple procedure for the simultaneous determination of dextran and glucose in small amounts of serum. For this purpose the following method was developed.

Simultaneous determination of aminoglycosides and colistins in food

Food Chemistry, 2018
A novel method for the simultaneous identification and quantification of twelve aminoglycosides (AGs) and two colistins in meat and bovine milk has been developed. The analysis was carried out using liquid chromatography coupled to quadrupole-Orbitrap mass spectrometry (LC-Q-Orbitrap).

Simultaneous Determination of Rifampicin and Efavirenz in Plasma

Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, 2002
Complex drug interactions involving antiretroviral agents and drugs for the management of opportunistic infections demand the monitoring of plasma drug concentrations to prevent treatment failure. The high occurrence of tuberculosis in HIV-infected subjects makes the management of HIV treatment complex.
