On simultaneous additive equations, IV [PDF]

open access: yesMathematika, 1990
Let \(c_ i\) and \(d_ i\) (1\(\leq i\leq s)\) be rational integers, and \(k\geq n>1\) be natural numbers. Consider the pair of additive equations: \[ (*)\quad c_ 1x^ k_ 1+...+c_ sx^ k_ s=0;\quad d_ 1x^ n_ 1+...+d_ sx_ s^ n=0. \] When \(s>2(k+n)\), and p is a rational prime with \(p>k^ 4n^ 2\), it is shown that the equations (*) are simultaneously ...

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Investigating the Relationship between Growth and Profitability of the Companies Listed in Tehran Stock Exchange Using a Simultaneous Equations System [PDF]

open access: yesبررسی‌های حسابداری و حسابرسی, 2014
There is a duality in studies on the relationship between growth and firm profitability. While some studies have examined the effects of growth on firm profitability, other studies have examined the effects of firm profitability on growth.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Model Persamaan Simultan pada Analisis Hubungan Kemiskian dan PDRB

open access: yesComTech, 2014
Simultaneous model is a model for some equation which have simultaneous relationships. It was often found in econometrics, such as the relationship between Gross Domestic Regional Product (GDRP) and poverty. GDP is a common indicator that can be used to

EVOLUTION OF A STRING NETWORK IN BACKGROUNDS WITH ROLLING HORIZONS [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
We discuss the temporal variation of the equation of state of a classical string network, evolving in a background in which the Hubble radius 1/H shrinks to a minimum and then re-expands to infinity.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

(WP 2010-09) Does Money Matter? An Empirical Investigation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper uses a simultaneous-equations model of the new consensus macroeconomic model to examine whether the inclusion of the money stock in the aggregate demand function improves the statistical fit of the model.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
