About some exponential inequalities related to the sinc function [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
In this paper, we prove some exponential inequalities involving the sinc function. We analyze and prove inequalities with constant exponents and inequalities with certain polynomial exponents. Also, we establish intervals in which these inequalities hold.

A Lower Bound on the Sinc Function and Its Application [PDF]

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
A lower bound on the sinc function is given. Application for the sequence bnn=1∞ which related to Carleman inequality is given as well.

A Sinc Function Analogue of Chebfun [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal of Scientific Computing, 2011
Chebfun is an established software system for computing with functions of a real variable, but its capabilities for handling functions with singularities are limited.

Polynomial function and derivative approximation of Sinc data

open access: yesJournal of Complexity, 2009
Sinc methods consist of a family of one dimensional approximation procedures for approximating nearly every operation of calculus. These approximation procedures are obtainable via operations on Sinc interpolation formulas.

Sinc Based Inverse Laplace Transforms, Mittag-Leffler Functions and Their Approximation for Fractional Calculus

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2021
We shall discuss three methods of inverse Laplace transforms. A Sinc-Thiele approximation, a pure Sinc, and a Sinc-Gaussian based method. The two last Sinc related methods are exact methods of inverse Laplace transforms which allow us a numerical ...

Frame set for shifted sinc-function [PDF]

open access: yesApplied and Computational Harmonic Analysis, 2023
We prove that frame set $\mathcal{F}_g$ for imaginary shift of sinc-function $$g(t)=\frac{\sin\pi b(t-iw)}{t-iw}, \quad b,w\in\mathbb{R}\setminus\{0\}$$ can be described as $\mathcal{F}_g=\{(\alpha,\beta): \alpha\beta\leq 1, \beta\leq|b|\}.$ \\ In ...

Adaptive Piecewise Poly-Sinc Methods for Ordinary Differential Equations

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2022
We propose a new method of adaptive piecewise approximation based on Sinc points for ordinary differential equations. The adaptive method is a piecewise collocation method which utilizes Poly-Sinc interpolation to reach a preset level of accuracy for the

Numerical solution of third order singular boundary value problems with nonclassical SE-sinc-collocation and nonclassical DE-sinc-collocation

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics, 2023
In this paper, we use the nonclassical SE-sinc-collocation and nonclassical DE-sinc-collocation methods for the numerical solution of singular third-order boundary value problems. The novelty of the approach is based on using the new non-classical weight

Using GEDI Waveforms for Improved TanDEM-X Forest Height Mapping: A Combined SINC + Legendre Approach

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
In this paper, we consider a new method for forest canopy height estimation using TanDEM-X single-pass radar interferometry. We exploit available information from sample-based, space-borne LiDAR systems, such as the Global Ecosystem Dynamics ...

Dual pulse shaping transmission with sinc‐function based complementary Nyquist pulses

open access: yesIET Communications, 2022
Due to difficulties in manufacturing, data conversion devices with extremely high sampling rate are becoming the bottleneck in realising high‐speed communication systems with a large bandwidth.
