Intravitreal GD2‐Specific Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Therapy for Refractory Retinoblastoma

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Effective treatments for advanced, treatment‐resistant retinoblastoma (RB) remain limited. GD2‐specific chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cells show potent antitumor activity with minimal toxicity but have not previously been evaluated in RB.

Three-point functions in sine-Liouville theory [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2001
We calculate the three-point functions in the sine-Liouville theory explicitly. The same calculation was done in the (unpublished) work of Fateev, Zamolodchikov and Zamolodchikov to check the conjectured duality between the sine-Liouville and the SL(2,R)/U(1) coset CFTs.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

Logistic rice model for dry matter and nutrient uptake

open access: yesScientia Agricola, 2003
The temporal variation of cumulative dry matter can be represented by a sigmoidal curve and the temporal variation of nutrient uptake follows this characteristic shape. Therefore, modeling the temporal variation of cumulative dry matter allows estimating

On the population model with a sine function

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2006
In the interval [0,1] function sr(x) = r sin πx behaves similar to logistic function h μ (x) = μx(1‐ x). We prove that for every r >  there exists subset ? ⊂ [0,1] such that sr : ? → ? is a chaotic function.

Collective coordinate variable for soliton-potential system in sine-Gordon model

open access: yes, 2009
A Collective coordinate variable for adding a space dependent potential to the sine-Gordon model is presented. Interaction of solitons with a delta function potential barrier and also delta function potential well is investigated.

Derivatives of meromorphic functions and sine function

open access: yesProceedings of the Japan Academy, Series A, Mathematical Sciences, 2015
In his paper [Ann. Math. (2) 70, 9--42 (1959; Zbl 0088.28505)] \textit{W. K. Hayman} proved that a transcendental meromorphic function \(f\) with finitely many zeros in \(\mathbb{C}\) assumes every finite non-zero value infinitely often. In this direction, the authors prove some results with new ideas.

Pediatric Oncology Nursing Competencies in Latin America and the Caribbean: A Scoping Review to Inform Practice, Education, and Research

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Nurses are central to cancer care for children and adolescents, yet no comprehensive synthesis has defined essential core competencies for pediatric oncology nursing (PON) practice internationally, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).

Integrable systems from supergravity BPS equations

open access: yes, 2008
Integrable systems of the sine-Gordon/Liouville type, which arise from reducing the BPS equations for solutions invariant under 16 supersymmetries in Type IIB supergravity and M-theory, are shown to be special cases of an infinite family of integrable ...

NRASQ61R Expression in Lymphatic Endothelial Cells Causes Enlarged Vessels, Hemorrhagic Chylous Effusions, and High Mortality in a Mouse Model of Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.
