Pirin Transcriptionally Regulates PLA2G4A To Inhibit Ferroptosis in Colorectal Cancer via Lipid Profile Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies Pirin (PIR), an iron‐binding protein, as a critical ferroptosis suppressor in colorectal cancer through lipid membrane remodeling. PIR, induced by NRF2 during ferroptotic stress, transcriptionally regulates PLA2G4A to shift cellular lipid composition away from ferroptosis‐permissive polyunsaturated phospholipids.

Enhancing Binding by Electron Transfer at Heterointerfaces of Biochar‐Modified Hydrogel to Improve Utilization Efficiency of Wastewater Recovered Nutrients

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Enhancing the utilization efficiency of nutrients recovered from wastewater is achieved through hydrogel modification by biochar. The strategy improves nutrient binding to hydrogels via electron transfer at heterointerfaces, thereby reducing nutrient release rate.

Electric Field Modulation of Interlayer Coupling via Piezostrain in a Synthetic Antiferromagnet

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Controlling the interlayer exchange coupling (IEC) in synthetic antiferromagnets (SAFs) using an electric field is a promising route toward energy‐efficient spintronic devices. In this study, electric field induced‐strain modulation of IEC in Co/Ru/Co SAF/PMN‐PT is demonstrated.

Lewis Acid‐Activated Charge Trapping in Dielectric Polymers for Superior High‐Temperature Electrostatic Energy Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lewis acid–base molecular engineering tailors the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital of polymers to form deep, homogeneous charge traps in commercial polyetherimide (PEI). These deep traps effectively inhibit the transport of injected charge carriers from electrodes, ultimately enabling ultrahigh energy density and thermal stability in dielectric ...
