Research on selective leakage protection of 10 kV system based on transient characteristic parameters in coal mine

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2022
When a single-phase grounding fault occurs in the coal mine 10 kV power supply system, due to the low sampling frequency of the system, the traditional transient line selection method is easy to lose the “line selection information”, and is greatly ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Simulation and Research of Non-effectively Grounding Network of Single-phase Ground-fault

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, 2020
Abstract When the non-effectively grounding network of single-phase ground fault happens, the voltage, the current, the zero-sequence voltage and the zero-sequence current have a special change and this problem has been the focus of research attention.

Cis‐regulatory and long noncoding RNA alterations in breast cancer – current insights, biomarker utility, and the critical need for functional validation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

Combined line selection of single-phase grounding faults considering harmonic injection of distributed powers

open access: yes电力工程技术, 2023
With the improvement of the requirements for the safe operation of distribution network lines, the harmonics injected by distributed power generation make the existing line selection methods ineffective, and the fault line selection method with a single ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Fault tolerance for holonomic quantum computation

open access: yes, 2013
We review an approach to fault-tolerant holonomic quantum computation on stabilizer codes. We explain its workings as based on adiabatic dragging of the subsystem containing the logical information around suitable loops along which the information ...
