Distribution Network Voltage Arc Suppression Method Based on Flexible Regulation of Neutral Point Potential of the New Grounding Transformer

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
Aiming at the problems that the existing arc suppression cabinet technology cannot adjust the zero sequence voltage flexibly and the control and hardware implementation of active arc suppression equipment based on power electronics are difficult, a new ...

Universal quantum computation with ordered spin-chain networks

open access: yes, 2011
It is shown that anisotropic spin chains with gapped bulk excitations and magnetically ordered ground states offer a promising platform for quantum computation, which bridges the conventional single-spin-based qubit concept with recently developed ...

Short circuit study of fixed speed wind turbines with STATCOM in distribution networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The increased penetration of wind farm in distribution networks has brought changes in the performance of the whole system. Such disadvantages when connecting one of these distributed generation sources is reduced voltage and power stability of the AC ...

Single-phase ground fault location technology research and application based on transient recording wave

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Earth and Environment, 2020
Fault location is an important part of distribution automation. Aiming at the problem of single-phase grounding fault detection, a fault location system based on transient recording technology is proposed.

Crosstalk between the ribosome quality control‐associated E3 ubiquitin ligases LTN1 and RNF10

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of the E3 ligase LTN1, the ubiquitin‐like modifier UFM1, or the deubiquitinating enzyme UFSP2 disrupts endoplasmic reticulum–ribosome quality control (ER‐RQC), a pathway that removes stalled ribosomes and faulty proteins. This disruption may trigger a compensatory response to ER‐RQC defects, including increased expression of the E3 ligase RNF10 ...

Peptide‐based ligand antagonists block a Vibrio cholerae adhesin

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The structure of a peptide‐binding domain of the Vibrio cholerae adhesin FrhA was solved by X‐ray crystallography, revealing how the inhibitory peptide AGYTD binds tightly at its Ca2+‐coordinated pocket. Structure‐guided design incorporating D‐amino acids enhanced binding affinity, providing a foundation for developing anti‐adhesion therapeutics ...

An adaptive reclosing strategy for UHV AC transmission lines based on phase difference of single-end induced voltage

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
In ultra-high voltage (UHV) AC transmission systems, single-phase to ground faults account for more than 80 % of all faults. If reclosing is performed blindly under permanent fault conditions after a single-phase to ground fault, the system may suffer ...

Analisa Gangguan Satu Fasa Ke Tanah Yang Mengakibatkan Sympathetic Trip Pada Penyulang Yang Tidak Terganggu Di PLN APJ Surabaya Selatan [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Twenty kilovolts power distribution network system at East Java use high resistance (500 ?) grounding system that makes maximum single phase to ground fault current 25 Amperes. To detect this fault current, a Directional Ground Relay (DGR) is used.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).
