Performance evaluation of hybrid multilevel inverter with a high-frequency switching technique
This proposed work deals with the implementation of a single-phase topology with using hybrid for multilevel inverters. It is observed that the proposed structure improves the performance of the hybrid multilevel inverter with high-frequency switches for

Control Strategies for Open-End Winding Drives Operating in the Flux-Weakening Region [PDF]
This paper presents and compares control strategies for three-phase open-end winding drives operating in the flux-weakening region. A six-leg inverter with a single dc-link is associated with the machine in order to use a single energy source.

Using Matlab/Simulink Software Package to Investigate Fault Behaviors in HVDC System
Existing studies show that several performance issues will arise in the HVDC link during the three phase-to-ground fault at the side of the inverter and that the DC voltage will oscillate around zero and will not affect the rectifier of the AC system ...

Development of Single-Phase Synchronous Inverter for Single-Phase Microgrid
The work is based on a collaboration between Hiroshima University and Kure KOSEN College. This paper presents the design concept, hardware, and applications of a single-phase synchronous inverter (SSI), a specially designed grid-forming inverter (GFM) for single-phase micro-grid (SMGs).

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Different Virtual Stator Winding Configurations of Open-End Winding Five-Phase PM Machines for Wide Speed Range without Flux Weakening Operation [PDF]
This paper presents a specific control strategy of double-ended inverter system for wide-speed range of open-winding five phase PM machines. Different virtual winding configurations (star, pentagon, pentacle and bipolar) can be obtained by choosing the ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...
