Inrush Current Investigation for Single Phase Power Transformers by Means of Magnetic Material Core Characteristics [PDF]
The paper propose a quantitatively study of the inrush current that occurs when a no loaded single phase power transformers is energized. An analytical approached is suggested, that along with various switching parameters, the main magnetic core material

Methods for differential protection of Scott transformers [PDF]
This article describes different methods for the differential protection of Scott transformers, which are based on: (a) single-phase relays, (b) 3-phase relays for two-winding transformers, (c) 3-phase relays for multi-winding transformers, (d) specific ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Development of an Electromagnetic‐Thermal Circuit Model for Single‐Phase Three‐Limb Transformers
Analysing the heat states of transformers under DC bias requires careful consideration of their own structural and material characteristics. Although the 3D finite element method (FEM) is a reliable way of simulating all the details of transformers, it ...

THREE PHASE TRANSFORMERS AS HARMONIC SOURCES IN POWER SYSTEMS. [PDF]
The generation of harmonic voltages and currents in three phase transformers is analysed and an equivalent third harmonic source is developed. A bank of three phase connected single phase transformers, shell type or five limbed as well as core type three

An alternative for reducing the layers in the construction of three-phase planar transformers [PDF]
A modified winding layout for three-phase transformers with PCB windings is proposed in this paper. This modified layout can be used in high current transformers with many PCB layers to simplify the fabrication process.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
