A Novel Single-Stage Buck–Boost Inverter

Traditional nonisolated multilevel inverters based on the buck–boost principle usually have some disadvantage such as necessary dead time or capacitor precharging. To overcome these, a new transformerless single-stage buck–boost voltage source inverter topology and its control method are proposed.

A New Control Strategy of Single-Stage Flyback Inverter

This paper presents a new control strategy for a single-stage flyback inverter, which consists of two flyback converters. The two converters alternately work in the proposed control scheme, which eliminate about 30% additional freewheeling power compared with a conventional differential control scheme. The control scheme is analyzed in detail.

Universal Single-Stage Grid-Connected Inverter

A new single-stage grid-connected inverter, suitable for distributed generation applications, is proposed. The inverter is universal in the sense that it can be switched between buck, boost, and buck--boost configurations by appropriately altering the pulse width modular (PWM) control.
