An isolated single stage buck-boost inverter
2008 IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference, 2008This paper presents a novel isolated single stage buck-boost inverter for implementing dc-to-ac, ac-to-dc or dc-to-dc. The BBI has better performances, in terms of low cost, high efficiency and high voltage gain. Through the HEV/EV application, the circuit operation principles and characteristics have been analyzed.

High gain single stage buck-boost inverter
2017 20th International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS), 2017A high gain single stage buck-boost inverter (SSBBI) is proposed in this paper. The proposed topology has low semiconductors count, only four switches. The tapped inductor is applied to attain high gain feature. One-cycle control (OCC) is adopted to control the SSBBI and attain superior source ripple rejection.

A Single-Stage Square Wave Buck-Boost Inverter
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2015This paper proposed a novel single-stage square wave buck-boost inverter (SWBBI). The proposed inverter is designed by using dual buck-boost converters. The input DC voltage of the proposed inverter can be either stepped-down or stepped-up in square output voltage waveform depending on the duty-cycle applied for each buck-boost converter.
