Design of a Single-Stage Transformerless Buck–Boost Inverter for Electric Vehicle Chargers

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
This paper details the design and implementation of a single-stage transformerless buck–boost inverter for electric vehicle (EV) chargers. Being different from conventional H-bridge inverters, the proposed inverter operates like buck–boost dc/dc ...

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Bi-Functional Non-Superconducting Saturated-Core Inductor for Single-Stage Grid-Tied PV Systems: Filter and Fault Current Limiter

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
Single-stage grid-interfaced PV topologies have challenges with high grid fault currents, despite being more efficient, simpler to implement, and less expensive than two-stage ones.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Design of a 3 GHz fine resolution LC DCO [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this thesis, the design of a fine resolution LC digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) is introduced. Two NMOS varactor banks are used to achieve 12 bits medium and fine frequency tuning.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

A Novel Single-Stage Boost Single-Phase Inverter and Its Composite Control Strategy to Suppress Low-Frequency Input Ripples

open access: yesEnergies
Low-frequency pulsating ripples exist on the input side of a single-phase inverter, which bring some adverse effects and harm to the inverter and photovoltaic power generation system. In order to suppress the low-frequency pulsating ripple and reduce the
