CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Dual-Input Dual-Output Split-Source Inverter With Low Input Current Ripple

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics
This paper presents a new dual-input dual-output split-source inverter (DIDO-SSI) topology. The proposed converter boosts two independent DC inputs to higher voltage levels and feeds a nine-switch inverter (NSI) stage.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

A Single Stage Common Ground Three-Level PV Inverter With Integrated Power Decoupling

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics, 2020
In this paper, a T-type common ground transformer-less single phase inverter with dynamic swing of the dc-link voltage is presented for photovoltaic (PV) application. The topology is a combination of a bi-directional, partial-power-processing boost stage

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.
