COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Micro Inverter Grid Connected for PV Application Based on SEPIC Differential Inverter [PDF]

open access: yesSVU-International Journal of Engineering Sciences and Applications
The problem of shading in photovoltaic systems has occupied a large part of the researchers' interests, and for this reason, the Micro-inverter (MI) is used as the solution, and the idea of manufacturing them depends on installing a small inverter with a

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

A New Single Stage Common Ground Five-Switch Boosting Transformerless Inverter

open access: yesIEEE Access
Transformerless inverters (TIs) are widely employed in photovoltaic (PV) applications due to their cost-effectiveness, compact size, low weight, and high efficiency. However, the absence of electrical isolation can result in ground leakage current due to

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Modulation Techniques for a Modified Three-Phase Quasi-Switched Boost Inverter With Common-Mode Voltage Reduction

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In a single-stage buck-boost quasi-switched boost inverter (qSBI), the shoot-through state insertion causes high amplitude common-mode voltage. Consequently, the qSBI becomes less attractive in transformerless photovoltaic (PV) systems.

A New Non-Isolated Active Quasi Z-Source Multilevel Inverter With High Gain Boost

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper proposes a three-level diode clamped active impedance source inverter (AIS-TLI) based on the quasi Z-source inverter (qZSI). Apart from having minimal components and the inherent benefits of three-level qZSIs, such as single-stage buck-boost ...
